Hansal Mehta is ecstatic about Bollywood having a ‘great times at the movies’, tweets ‘ALL IZ WELL’ | Hindi Movie News

Bollywood has been reeling under a slump ever since the pandemic hit our lives. To make matters worse, the Boycott Bollywood trend too, has been troubling the industry since early this year. Popular actors like Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar have come under its radar, leading to poor performances of some or all of their movies at the BO.

However, it seems like slowly, but surely the industry is coming out of the woods, with movies like
Drishyam 2 getting the cash registers ringing at the BO. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who has been in the industry for more than two decades, recently tweeted that movies like
Monica O My Darling, Drishyam 2, Uunchai, Bhediya, Freddy, An Action Hero and
Qala have all been appreciated and while some have been hits and rest misses, it is finally ‘ALL IZ WELL’ time in B town.

The 54-year-old, known for movies like
Aligarh, Shahid, City Lights and others tweeted, “Our industry is having a great time at the movies – #MonicaOMyDarling #Drishyam2 #Uunchai #Bhediya #Freddy #AnActionHero and #Qala. Some hits, some misses but all appreciated films, made with passion and telling all those doomsayers that ALL IZ WELL!”

On the workfront, Hansal Mehta has recently wrapped up shooting with Kareena Kapoor Khan for his next untitled project. The movie, which was being shot extensively in London, will see Kareena don the role of a detective and mother, as per reports.
