The lease agreement is for three years and Kartik has paid a security deposit of Rs 45 lakhs while the agreement cites monthly rent of Rs 7.50 lakh for the first year, with an escalation of 7% every year, reports ET. Kartik Aaryan will pay Rs. 8.2 lakh in the second year and Rs. 8.58 lakh in the third year. Shahid Kapoor’s luxurious apartment is spread over 3.681 sq ft on the ground floor and comes with two car parking slots. According to a news portal, Kartik’s mother Mala Tiwari and Shahid’s wife Mira Rajput worked on the stamp duty and 36-month lease registration process.
Shahid and Mira Kapoor recently moved out of their apartment in Praneta building to their plush duplex in Prabhadevi. In 2018, the couple had invested in a sprawling 8,625 sq ft apartment in the south wing of Three Sixty West for ₹55.60 crore. Kartik Aaryan resides in a 459 sq ft apartment in Versova, which he had purchased for Rs. 1.60 crore in 2019.
