“I used to be knowledgeable actor round 16, 17. I ended up doing a film in Toronto that received me an agent in LA. So, at 20 years previous, I drove in my automobile to Los Angeles, received out of my automobile, and my supervisor stated, ‘We need to change your title,'” he shared, as quoted by E! Information.
Admitting that he was initially confused by the suggestion, Keanu spoke about brainstorming for a brand new stage title. “I bear in mind I used to be strolling on the seashore and I used to be like, ‘My title? What if I alter my title?’ My center title is Charles, so I used to be like ‘Chuck?’ And I grew up on a road referred to as Spadina – ‘Chuck Spadina?’ Then I used to be like, ‘one thing Templeton.’ However then I grew to become ‘KC Reeves,” the actor recalled.
Despite the fact that Keanu Reeves adopted the brand new title for his very first movie, he ended up ditching it just a few months later. “I could not do it. So then I’d be in auditions and they’d go, ‘KC Reeves.’ And I would not even reply. Six months later, I used to be like, ‘I am not doing this.’ That is a Hollywood second,” he advised the outlet.
As per Selection, Keanu Reeves was credited “KC Reeves” in one among his first movies – a made-for-TV film from 1986.
