Shah Rukh Khan has given up on me, got kicked out from Salman Khan’s Tere Naam, was obsessed with Nora Fatehi: Anurag Kashyap | Hindi Movie News

Director Anurag Kashyap got candid about his equation with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan and shared a few anecdotes about the two superstars. He admitted to being obsessed with Nora Fatehi’s dance videos and called it his ‘Nora phase.’
During his interaction on Unfiltered By Samdish, Anurag said that he want Pathaan to be a hit, adding that he is very happy with Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback. He also wondered how SRK manages to stay fit at 57.

Talking about working with Shah Rukh Khan, Anurag said, “Yes, I have thought of working with him a lot of times. He has been my college senior and whenever he calls I stand up while I pick the call. He is like a big brother to me. He has given up on me and he keeps telling me what not to do. He told me why I should not be on Twitter. Everybody who cares about me, wants me to see life the way they do.”

The filmmaker then went on to talk about Salman and named Sultan, Dabangg and Bajrangi Bhaijaan as his best movies. He then recalled being ousted from Tere Naam because he had asked Salman to grow hair on his chest. Anurag was then replaced by Satish Kaushik who went on to direct the film.

He further revealed that he used to watch dance videos of Hrithik Roshan during the whole lockdown and also talked about his obsession with Nora Fatehi’s dance reels. “I watch a lot of reels. Once I was obsessed with Nora Fatehi’s dance reels. Now I watch food reels. I had a Nora Fatehi phase,” he said.
