Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul tied the knot on January 23 in an intimate ceremony at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala. The couple kept it private and only invited their close friends and family, while the guests were asked to strictly follow a no-phone policy. But as soon as the couple dropped their first pictures as husband and wife, netizens couldn’t stop gushing.
Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty dropped some heartwarming pictures from the wedding. In one picture he can be seen holding Athiya’s hand and bringing her to the ‘mandap’. In other picture, Ahan can be seen performing some ritual and seemingly is touching Athiya’s feet.
He wrote, “I love you both so much. Wish you all the love and happiness together.”

Athiya and KL Rahul have been dating for a while before they decided to tie the knot. Suniel had confirmed to the paparazzi after their wedding that they will think of holding a reception in Mumbai but after IPL. IPL kickstarts on March 20 and it ends on May 20. Suniel also spoke about his new role, of a father-in-law to the paps. He said that, it’s the same role. I am a father only. Mere liye toh mera beta aa raha hai ghar pe (For me, it’s like my son is coming home).
