Udit Narayan’s building catches fire, his neighbour loses his life: Report – VIDEO | Hindi Movie News


The building where Udit Narayan stays caught fire on Monday night. It is called Skypan Apartments in Shastri Nagar, Andheri West. Flames were seen coming out of it on Monday night at around 9 15 pm. The firefighters quickly reached the venue and took action to contain the fire and the building was evacuated.
According to a report by Vickey Lalwani, Udit Narayan’s neighbour Rahul Mishra, who was 75 years old and stayed on the 11th floor passed away due to this tragic incident. He was immediately rushed to Kokilaben hospital but was declared dead immediately. He suffered asphyxiation from smoke inhalation. Meanwhile, Rahul’s relative Raunak Mishra who was also with him at the flat suffered some injuries too. The report also stated that the Mumbai Fire Brigade has confirmed the death of the 75-year old resident. This tragedy took place due to an electrical equipment in Mishra’s flat itself.

Some also claimed that the family had lit a diya whose flames engulfed the curtains. Meanwhile, Times Of India had reported that the entire road leading to the residential building was blocked, and electricity supply was switched off as soon as the residents learnt of the fire. Metal and glass shards kept falling to the ground from the flat where the firemen were conducting cooling operations around 11.30 pm.
