This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

Per Deadline, as of Saturday morning, A Minecraft Movie is projected to take in a 3-day total of more than $80 million at the domestic box office by the end of its sophomore weekend. This drop of roughly 48% sees it taking in more than enough for it to claim No. 1 on the chart for the second weekend in a row, outstripping its new release competitors The King of Kings, Drop, The Amateur, and Warfare. In fact, it has earned nearly double the opening weekends of all four movies combined, which comes out to roughly $48.3 million.
