The VOD release date for Flight Risk has been revealed, confirming when Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson’s action thriller will be available at home. The Gibson-directed movie follows U.S. Marshal Madolyn Harris (Michelle Dockery) boarding a small plane to transfer a government witness, Winston (Topher Grace), to New York City to testify against a wanted criminal. However, the Texan pilot taking them on their flight (Wahlberg) isn’t who he seems, leading to a domino effect of action-packed events playing out. The film was released theatrically on January 24, earning $34.3 million against a $25 million budget.
Now, Lionsgate has confirmed that Flight Risk will be available to rent and buy on digital VOD starting on February 14. The film will be available on all major digital storefronts upon its home release. Rentals will cost $19.99 for a 48-hour period, while the film can be purchased for $24.99. Special features include the theatrical release trailer for the movie, as well as a behind-the-scenes featurette titled, “Risk Management: Making Flight Risk.”
