Barron’s Cove follows a father with a violent previous (Garrett Hedlund) as he grieves the sudden lack of his solely little one. Satisfied of a cover-up and intent on acquiring solutions about his son’s demise, he kidnaps the troubled boy he holds accountable – the son of a distinguished native politician – which ignites a media firestorm and frenzied manhunt. However as he grows ever nearer to uncovering the reality, he’s left to wonder if his pursuers are actually looking for to guard the boy, or merely the secrets and techniques he retains.
The film was written and directed by Evan Ari Kelman in his characteristic movie directorial debut, and it additionally stars Brittany Snow, Stephen Lang, Christian Convery, and Raúl Castillo.
