Matt Reeves teases the creative journey of The Batman 2 while also coming in on the DC villain rumors for Robert Pattinson’s upcoming superhero movie.
In a new interview with Josh Horowitz, Reeves was asked about the direction of The Batman 2, following the official announcement that the sequel has been delayed to October 2027. While addressing that The Batman 2 will show “different sides” of Pattinson’s leading hero, Reeves also reacted to rumors about who will be the next antagonist in the sequel, as he shared the following:
I hope so. I think so, I think the story is a continuation in a certain way, and completely different in another. And it’s going to show different sides of [Robert Pattinson]. I think it’s going to be really exciting, it’s going to be really cool. [When asked about rumors] You kind of look at them casually and go ‘Oh is that what they think now? Oh. Interesting. Okay.’ You gotta put your head down and do what you do and try to do it as best as you can.
