MCU’s New Falcon Actor Shows Off Ripped Physique For Captain America 4

Captain America: New World Order star Danny Ramirez shows off his Falcon physique for the film. Introduced in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier as Joaquin Torres, he is tipped to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next Falcon as Sam Wilson officially becomes Captain America. Directed by Julius Onah, Captain America: New World Order will not only continue Sam’s journey as the new wielder of the iconic shield, it’s also expected to officially set up Torres as his Falcon successor.

As production for Captain America: New World Order nears, Ramirez posted an update on Twitter of the physical preparations he’s going through for the film. Check out the image below:

Aside from Anthony Mackie and Ramirez, Captain America: New World Order will also star Harrison Ford. The Star Wars and Indiana Jones actor is taking over the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross following William Hurt’s passing in 2022.

What To Expect From Captain America: New World Order

Specific plot details about Captain America: New World Order are scant at the moment. However, the return of Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier suggests that the film will dive deeper into the mystery of the Super Soldier serum. Meanwhile, Tim Blake Nelson is also returning as Samuel Sterns aka The Leader who has not been seen in the MCU since 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.

It has already been confirmed that Ross is the US President in Captain America: New World Order. Whether his Red Hulk alter-ego will factor into the narrative is uncertain, but the character is already confirmed to appear in Marvel’s Thunderbolts. Overall, like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, expect that the upcoming Onah-directed MCU film will lean into political themes.

As Sam navigates through his new role as MCU’s Captain America, it’s likely the film will simultaneously develop Torres’ arc to be the next Falcon. The character was barely in the Disney+ series where he debuted, but like many characters in the franchise, his arc will progress over the next several years, with Captain America: New World Order only marking the next step of it.
