Fear Street: Prom Queen became no. 1 on Netflix’s global weekly chart in less than a week. Released on May 23, the fourth installment after the 2021 trilogy, 1994, 1978, and 1666, is the first standalone movie in the Fear Street series. Starring India Fowler as Lori Granger, Suzanna Son as Megan Rogers, Fina Strazza as Tiffany Falconer, and others, the movie sees the masked slasher return to Shadyside.
According to Netflix, Fear Street: Prom Queen debuted with 10.7 million views in just three days, with 16 million total hours watched. This was enough to claim the top spot on the streamer’s chart after Nonnas dominated it for two weeks.
