Apple TV+’s profit from Severance season 1 has seemingly been revealed. The first season of the Dan Erickson-created sci-fi workplace drama was released in 2022, first introducing the world to a mysterious workplace called Lumon where employees go through a life-altering “severance” procedure. After being introduced to fascinating characters played by Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, John Turturro, Dichen Lachman, Patricia Arquette, and more, Severance season 2 experienced production delays that put it in a nearly three-year hiatus. The show returned on Friday, January 17, and will air episodes weekly through March 21.
As per Deadline, Severance season 1’s revenue has been revealed. Based on research from Parrot Analytics, Severance season 1 generated over $200 million for Apple TV+.
