With Bridgerton season 4’s production having kicked off, a new behind-the-scenes video has shown familiar faces and new cast additions on-location for filming. The hit Netflix period drama is based on Julia Quinn’s series of novels that focuses on the blossoming romances of the titular family as they navigate the upper-class lifestyle of Regency-era England. Bridgerton season 4 sees the series turn its focus to Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton, who finds himself falling for the mysterious Sophie Baek, played by newcomer Yerin Ha.
As production on Bridgerton season 4 continues, the official Bridgerton Instagram account has shared a video from the set:
While the cast was dressed in coats atop their costumes, the video above shows the returns of Thompson, Hannah Dodd, and Victor Alli alongside Ha, as they return to portray Benedict, Francesca Bridgerton, and John Stirling. Claudia Jessie and Nicola Coughlan were also present on set interacting with one another as they reprise their roles of Eloise and Penelope. Throughout the video, the cast can be seen with one another between filming. The video concludes with Ha bringing the short Reel to a close.

Key Storylines Have Been Confirmed
Given the events of the Bridgerton season 3 finale, the new set video has confirmed several developments for the family that will be followed through on in the new season. The newly-married Francesca and John are continuing their relationship, despite the former’s meeting with her husband’s cousin, Michaela (Masali Baduza), causing her to become intrigued. While it is currently unclear whether Michaela will return in season 4, Francesca and John’s unfolding story in the new season plays a key part in establishing Francesca’s direction within a future season that will adapt “When He Was Wicked.”
