Criminal Minds: Evolution showrunner Erica Messer pulls back the curtain and previews why Matthew Gray Gubler is finally reprising his role as Spencer Reid. It was confirmed late last year that Gubler would appear in an episode of Criminal Minds: Evolution season 3. Now, we have a better sense of what he’ll be doing.
