FBI’s Scola Actor Teases New Season 7 Episode That Dives Into His Character’s Past & Upbringing

FBI’s Scola Actor Teases New Season 7 Episode That Dives Into His Character’s Past & Upbringing

FBI star John Boyd teases an upcoming season 7 episode that explores the past of his character, Special Agent Scola. In the New York field office, Scola is a fast-talking former Wall Street trader turned agent. He often uses his financial expertise to crack cases of high-stakes domestic crime and terrorism. The FBI season 7 midseason premiere left Scola at a major personal crossroads—after months of hesitation, he finally opened a letter confirming that his older brother Doug, who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, was officially identified. An upcoming FBI episode is set to continue his emotional journey.

In an interview with TV Insider, Boyd revealed that an upcoming episode of FBI will take Scola back to his roots, specifically to the high school he attended as a teenager. The latest chapter will force the silver-tongued agent to confront unresolved wounds as he exposes the dark secrets behind a military school his parents sent him to as a punishment. Check out Boyd’s comments below:

We’re doing a really interesting episode right now about a case that takes place at Scola’s old high school. We find out that his parents sent him to a military school upstate because they wanted to punish him, but there’s some really dark things uncovered about the school and Scola navigating it.

It’s an OA [Zeeko Zaki] and Scola partnership episode, and it’s really about friendship, and it’s cool. I’m excited for people to see it… We find out some interesting details about his journey into adulthood.
