The Ghosts season 4, episode 16 trailer teases the reveal of Hetty’s supernatural power. While most of the spirits occupying Woodstone have displayed unique talents, some of which include controlling electricity or handling tangible objects, Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) has yet to uncover hers. As Ghosts season 4 continues, audiences have been speculating what her ability may be, or if she possesses one at all, especially since Hetty has tried and failed to manifest a latent power before.
The trailer for Ghosts season 4, episode 16 (released via TV Promos) reveals that Hetty will finally know what her power is. In the footage, Wisocky’s character is shown among other spirits, while the narration teases, “Someone’s getting a ghost power.” The exciting reveal was included in CBS’ synopsis as well, which reads, “Hetty’s ghost power is revealed when Jay’s cousin Sunil visits Woodstone Mansion on St. Patrick’s Day.” The trailer for Ghosts’ upcoming episode, titled “St. Hetty’s Day,” also features Chris, who previously died, in a body bag. Hetty May Have An Impressive Power
Among the ghosts at Woodstone, Hetty lacks any notable powers, and despite her endeavors throughout the series, she is unable to spur one. Her disappointment has been evident, as seen in Ghosts season 4, episode 3, when she believed that Sam (Rose McIver) had been turned to stone, but could not help save her. After Elias goes to Hell in season 1, concurring with her dismissal of him, theories began swirling that Hetty could transport spirits to the afterlife. However, nothing like that has happened since, and she remains hopeful that her power can be activated.

Whether they affect living people or fellow ghosts, Hetty’s supernatural powers could play a major role, as she adjusts and/or employs them out of necessity in future episodes.
