Harlan Coben has shared a new filming update on another upcoming Netflix adaptation of his books, this newest project led by a star from Avatar. Coben’s books have found success as TV adaptations, especially on Netflix. In January 2024, the miniseries Fool Me Once was released on the platform, rising to become the streamer’s eighth most-watched English-language series of all time. Despite polarizing reviews, with praise from critics and mixed responses from audiences, it’s led the author’s work to become a mainstay on the streaming platform.
This includes an adaptation of Missing You that came out in January 2025, which, unfortunately, garnered negative responses by comparison. That hasn’t stopped Netflix from adapting more of his work, though, with a Polish adaptation of Just One Look having been released on March 5, 2025. A new miniseries adaptation, Run Away, is currently filming in England, while a Spanish-language adaptation of his book Caught debuts on March 26. However, there is one more project in the author’s many ongoing adaptations that has recently received a substantial update.
Coben Offered An Important Update On I Will Find You
The Show Is Based Off His 2023 Novel
Coben has provided an update on the upcoming adaptation of his 2023 mystery novel I Will Find You. The book follows David Burroughs, a man accused of killing his son, Matthew, and who ends up imprisoned for life. However, five years into his sentence, he receives word that his son might actually still be alive, prompting him to try escaping prison so he can investigate the truth behind what really happened to Matthew. Sam Worthington will star as David, with no other information about the upcoming Coben TV show adaptation being provided.
