A new Suits LA trailer reveals Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter returning to the franchise. The legal drama universe continues to grow following the launch of Suits LA season 1, focusing on Ted Black (Stephen Amell) and his firm on the West Coast. However, as the new series fleshes out the universe started by USA Network’s Suits, it will also look back to where it all began. Macht’s Harvey, who served as one of the main characters on the original show, will make a couple guest appearances in season 1.
Following the airing of Suits LA season 1, episode 3, NBC announced that episode 4, officially titled “Batman Returns,” will mark the first appearance of Harvey as part of a multi-episode story arc. Set to air on Sunday, March 16, NBC also debuted a brand new Suits LA trailer for “Batman Returns,” showcasing Ted and Harvey’s dynamic. Check it out below:
NBC also revealed the first logline for Macht’s Suits LA debut, along with a new promotional still of him and Amell’s Ted Black. The logline reads:
Ted and Erica take on Samantha to save Lester’s movie, but the battle may hurt his murder trial. Rick enlists Stuart’s help when a difficult actor is arrested. In the past, the danger of going against a mob boss sends Ted to an old friend.

While Suits LA has confirmed that Ted and Harvey know each other, it has been unclear up to this point what the status of their relationship is in the present day. For long-time Suits viewers, the original series didn’t reference their history, nor has the spinoff gone deeper into their background. Based on the “Batman Returns” trailer, Suits LA episode 4 will set the foundation for how they became involved in each other’s lives.

With Harvey showing up next week, fans will have to wait and see what Suits LA will reveal about his history with Ted.
