A hilarious Invincible season 3 teaser has creatively avoided spoiling anything about its return, featuring a limited interaction between two characters. Invincible season 2 ended with Mark (Steve Yeun) deciding to work for Cecil (Walton Goggins) full-time, becoming a superhero partnered with the Global Defense Agency to keep the world safe. However, the trailer for season 3 implied there would be conflict between the two, stemming from the GDA leader’s continued partnership with D.A. Sinclair (Eric Bauza) to create Reanimen for their defense. This seems like it will be the new episodes’ biggest conflict yet.
Now, Invincible has released a new, official teaser for season 3, featuring a hilarious interaction between Mark and Cecil to avoid spoilers. The teaser sees the GDA’s leader bringing the young superhero, who has a bullet hole in his suit, to the White Room. The pair stare at each other in silence for quite some time, the trailer seemingly cutting out any dialogue happening between them. Mark then says, “Is that all you’ve got?” Cecil replies with, “Yeah,” ending the teaser. Check it out below:
What Invincible’s Funny New Teaser Says About Season 3
The Unexplained Context Hints At Mark & Cecil’s Conflict
Invincible season 3 has already confirmed Mark and Cecil’s conflict, while also hinting at how the use of Reanimen is a key point of contention between the two. However, the newest teaser hints at something more that brings them to blows, signifying a new level of distrust that divides them. This could have something to do with Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), who’s seemingly approaching some semblance of reformation, or Oliver (Christian Convery), whose appearance makes for another Viltrumite superhero.

Invincible Season 3’s Confirmed Release Schedule Is A Massive Relief After Season 2’s Controversy
Invincible has confirmed its upcoming release schedule for season 3, and the show looks like it has learned from the mistakes of season 2.
It’s clear Cecil still doesn’t fully trust Mark after he and Omni-Man fought in Chicago, having crafted a device that can incapacitate Viltrumites as necessary. Since the GDA is currently preparing for their Empire’s potential arrival on Earth, it seems they’re treading carefully around who they can ally with. While the cast of Invincible who work with the GDA are important to the cause, it’s possible their approach sits the wrong way with the protagonist. This is especially the case if he believes his father has a chance at reformation, despite all the devastation he caused.
