The ongoing Letterkenny spinoff Shoresy has been renewed for season 5 at Hulu, ahead of the comedy series’ season 4 premiere later this year. The Canadian sitcom follows its titular character, Shoresy (Jared Keeso), as he becomes the leader of the Sudsbury Bulldogs, a hockey team with plenty to prove as they play to win, against the threat of possibly being shut down. The series has been praised for its story, performances, and comedic moments. Shoresy season 3 ended with the titular character deciding to step away from hockey, with season 4 set to explore what happens next.
Now, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed Shoresy was renewed for season 5 at Hulu, ahead of its season 4 premiere. It’s currently unclear what the season will be about, with season 4 set to drop all six episodes on February 26, 2025. However, the series’ core focus on the Bulldogs is likely to remain, even as the title character explores what life is like following his decision to stop coaching.
The Letterkenny Spinoff Has Plenty Of Story To Tell
By the end of season 3, Shoresy has been offered multiple possible positions after his life on the ice. This includes an analyst for the drink company DudeBro, and as a possible coach for the Bulldogs. The characters in Shoresy being so focused on hockey makes it likely he’ll come back in a more behind-the-scenes capacity. However, post-credits text called season 3 the end of “Part 1” of the sitcom, meaning there could be some drastic differences coming in season 4 that steer his life away from his hockey team.
