At long last, New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt has confirmed its release window with a brand-new trailer. In 2022, over a decade since Panty & Stocking ended, it was announced that the anime would finally be getting a sequel; Panty & Stocking was always one of the most iconic anime from Studio Trigger’s staff, and even with so much time having gone by, a sequel was nothing but exciting to think about.
New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is one of the most hotly-anticipated anime of 2025, and there’s finally a confirmed release window for it. The series was one of many anime featured at Anime Japan 2025, and a new trailer was released in celebration that not only revealed two new characters, the angels Polyester and Polyurethane, but it formally announced that New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt will officially premiere in July 2025.
