Wamika Gabbi’s upcoming collaboration with filmmaker-writer Vishal Bhardwaj will mark their fourth. The actor, who earned popularity of her present, Jubilee, will headline the detective collection, Charlie Chopra and the Thriller of Solang Valley. “Enjoying the function of India’s first feminine detective in a present is an unbelievable honour. This can be a character that I’ve poured my coronary heart into,” says the actor of the SonyLIV homicide thriller, an official adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel, The Sittaford Thriller.
Crediting filmmaker Bhardwaj for providing feminine actors the possibility to play distinctive characters, she says, “Sir writes every character intricately. I’ve been keen on the feminine characters in his movies, and this character isn’t any completely different. It’s my most formidable function thus far.”
The primary episode of the collection—additionally starring Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Neena Gupta, Lara Dutta, and Vivaan Shah, amongst others—aired on June 30. The remainder will premiere on September 27.
