After viewers were left shocked by the titular character’s cliffhanger decision, Netflix has confirmed XO, Kitty will be back for season 3. The coming-of-age rom-com show serves as a spinoff to the To All the Boys franchise, putting the focus on Anna Cathcart’s Kitty Song Covey as she goes to the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) and navigates love, education and friendship. XO, Kitty season 2, which released to largely positive reviews from critics, saw Kitty return to Seoul and try to embrace being single, only for her complicated feelings with Min Ho and Yuri to get in the way.
Nearly a month after the latest season of the show premiered, and in time for Valentine’s Day, Netflix has officially renewed XO, Kitty for season 3. The news came paired with a charming post from the streamer and star Anna Cathcart, in which she receives the first script for the next season of the show and expresses her excitement for viewers to see the next chapter.
