NBC has renewed Zachary Quinto’s new medical drama Brilliant Minds for a second season.
Per TV Line, the show survived Friday’s shock spate of cancellations, to receive a second season renewal, further cementing the network’s faith in its future. With 4.9 million viewers, and ranking sixth on the list of NBC’s dramas, the show, alongside fellow freshman series The Hunting Party, managed to avoid cancellation ahead of shows like Suits LA and Found, both of which were not renewed.
