Labyrinth 2 has now found its director. The original fantasy movie starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie has become a cult classic since its release, prompting calls for a sequel in the last four decades.
Now, Deadline confirms that Nosferatu director Robert Eggers will be director and write the Labyrinth sequel. This comes not long after original reports that the acclaimed filmmaker was involved with the movie at some capacity, which is now confirmed to be a sequel and not a remake.
