Percy Jackson and the Olympian showrunners Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz are in talks with Disney+ and 20th Century TV to helm another live-action Power Rangers television series. The first entry in Hasbro’s Power Rangers franchise was the original 1990s TV series The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, based off of a Japanese children’s show, which followed a group of five teenagers with the ability to morph into mecha-superheroes known as Power Rangers.
Now, The Wrap has reported that Disney+’s Percy Jackson team is being eyed for their Power Rangers live-action series.
