Resurrection Images Reveal First Look At Michael C. Hall’s Return

First-look images for Dexter: Resurrection

are here, unveiling Michael C. Hall’s return as Dexter Morgan. Created by Clyde Phillips, the original Dexter series ran for eight seasons on Showtime, ending in 2013. After returning as the eponymous serial killer for a one-off revival, subtitled New Blood, in 2021, Hall reprised his role for the opening moments of prequel series Dexter: Original Sin. Now, Dexter is set to return once more in the Dexter: Resurrection sequel series, which takes the character to New York City.

Vanity Fair now shares the first images from Dexter: Resurrection, previewing this new installment in the franchise. One image teases at least one new victim for Hall’s character, while others show Dexter panting in a subway station, standing ominously in the dark with Harry Morgan (James Remar) behind him, and smiling while seemingly about to sit down for dinner with new friends.

The new images also unveil Jack Alcott’s return as Dexter’s son, Harrison, who has seemingly picked up a new job and potentially a new love interest. David Zayas also returns as Angel Batista in the new images, with the article teasing that this original Dexter detective will be pursuing Hall’s serial killer after the events of New Blood. Several new characters are also included in the images, including Peter Dinklage as a billionaire venture capitalist and Uma Thurman as his mysterious head of security.
