Ella Purnell shares a behind-the-scenes photo announcing an exciting production update for Fallout season 2. Based on the Bethesda video game franchise, Prime Video’s adaptation follows a young woman named Lucy (Purnell) who leaves her home in Vault 33 to venture into the dangerous wasteland of a devastated Los Angeles to find her father, the Vault’s overseer, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan). Premiered in April 2024, season 1 was a massive critical and commercial success, and later that same month, Fallout season 2 was promptly renewed, which started filming the following November.
Now, the second season has received an exciting production update. On Instagram, Ella Purnell shared a BTS photo of her and Kyle MacLachlan announcing that Fallout season 2 has wrapped filming. The image appears to have been taken in the makeup trailer, and was captioned “aaaaand that’s a wrap on @falloutonprime Season 2 folks! 🤓” Check out the full post below:
