This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.
Per Deadline, as of Saturday morning, Hurry Up Tomorrow is projected to earn a 3-day opening weekend gross between $3 and $3.6 million at the domestic box office, debuting at No. 6. This will see it earning back just over a fifth of its reported budget of $15 million. Because movies generally need to earn back two and a half times their budgets in order to turn a profit in theaters, this means that its estimated break-even point could be as high as $37.5 million, which is a total that it seems highly unlikely to reach given this inauspicious start.
