Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender has cast seven new actors, including a Severance star, to fill season 2 and 3 roles. After the dismal 2010 M. Night Shyamalan live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, fans rejoiced when Netflix put out a genuinely good live-action version of the story. Rather than making the story into a movie, they put out season 1 of a series, and the streaming giant quickly picked the show up for seasons 2 and 3.
Now, the show has added seven new cast members, including a Severance star, to fill roles for those two seasons. According to Netflix’s Twitter post, Avatar: The Last Airbender’s new season 2 cast members include:
- Madison Hu (The Brothers Sun) as Fei
- Dichen Lachman (Severance and Jurassic World Dominion) as Yangchen
- Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness) as Lo and Li
- Lily Gao (Twisted Metal) as Ursa
- Terry Chen (Jessica Jones and House of Cards) as Jeon Jeon
Additionally, they’ve added Jon Jon Briones (Ratched) as Piandao and Tantoo Cardinal (Killers of the Flower Moon and Dances With Wolves) as Hama for Avatar: The Last Airbender season 3. To make matters even more exciting, filming wrapped for season 2 this month, and they started filming season 3 immediately afterward.
