Disney’s Lilo & Stitch becomes only the fourth movie of 2025 to hit a major milestone at the global box office. A live-action remake of Disney’s 2002 animated movie of the same name, the new film follows the same story of a solitary Hawaiian girl who forms a bond with a fugitive alien. The Lilo & Stitch live-action remake features Chris Sanders reprising his voice role alongside Maia Kealoha, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, Zach Galifianakis, Tia Carrere, Amy Hill, and Jason Scott Lee.

Now, after just six days in theaters, the new Lilo & Stitch has passed the $400 million mark globally, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It becomes only the fourth movie of 2025 to hit that global box office milestone after China’s Ne Zha 2 ($1.8B), A Minecraft Movie ($941M), and Captain America: Brave New World ($415M). Lilo & Stitch has crossed $200 million domestically.
