The title of Downton Abbey 3 has been revealed in a new poster. The movie is the third in a trilogy of features that follow the popular ITV drama, which followed the lives of the residents and servants in a Yorkshire estate and ran for six seasons between 2010 and 2015. The upcoming Downton Abbey 3, which was directed by Simon Curtis, features a huge ensemble cast that includes returning stars Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Raquel Cassidy, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt, Allen Leech, and Elizabeth McGovern, alongside newcomers Paul Giamatti, Alessandro Nivola, and Joely Richardson.
Focus Features has now unveiled the official teaser poster for the new Downton Abbey movie, which reveals that it will be titled Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. The image features a character in a red dress facing away from the camera and walking down an ornate hall in the titular home. The movie’s full title is revealed below the tagline “the time has come to say goodbye,” which works in tandem with the subtitle to confirm that the multimedia franchise is ending after 15 years.
