Emmy-winning actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has been cast in Mark Wahlberg’s upcoming crime-thriller By Any Means. Abdul-Mateen II is well-known for roles in Aquaman, Candyman, and Black Mirror, and won a Primetime Emmy for his role as Doctor Manhattan in HBO’s Watchmen limited series.
Per Deadline, Abdul-Mateen II has closed a deal that will see him appear alongside Oscar nominee Wahlberg in the upcoming crime-thriller. He will replace This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown, who was forced to leave the project on account of scheduling conflicts.
