Speaking to Pedro Pascal, ScreenRant‘s own Molly Brizzell inquired about Din Djarin in the film and whether he would be helmetless this time around. This topic has stirred much curiosity since The Mandalorian season 3, which saw Din Djarin return to keeping his helmet on in front of others despite many Mandalorian traditions being challenged:
“I hope so, I really do. I know everything that there is to know, and I’m not gonna tell you any of it because I want you to experience it. I want everyone to experience the incredible surprises that are in store in one of the greatest adventure movies that has ever been made. I mean that.”
Pascal’s comments confirm that he shares many fans’ desire to see more of Din Djarin without his helmet, even if he can’t confirm whether it will happen. I have to admit, just hearing this brief statement from Pedro Pascal has drastically increased my excitement for The Mandalorian & Grogu. I’ll always have some excitement for a new Star Wars movie, but with The Mandalorian season 3 wrapping up so many of the show’s plotlines, it left me uncertain if there was enough story left to warrant a movie. Now, however, Pascal’s faith in the movie and his excitement for fans to see it are highly infectious.
