Ralph Fiennes has teased his 28 Years Later character and his storyline in the zombie movie as a bloodied new image of the survivor is revealed. The story of 28 Years Later follows a group of survivors on an island long after the Rage Virus has decimated the UK. It follows one survivor, Jamie (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), and others leaving on a mission, that results in them running into various dangers. The film is the first in a planned trilogy of sequel in the 28 Days Later franchise, and will introduce various characters, including one portrayed by Fiennes.
Now, Empire has revealed a bloodied new image of Fiennes’ Dr. Kelson, an important survivor in 28 Years Later. While not much is known about the doctor yet, Fiennes teases an “interesting” way he’s been able to survive for so long, cryptically teasing what audiences will think of him. He also said that, while he’s introduced in the first movie, his real time to shine will be in its sequel, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, in 2026. Check out the new image, and what Fiennes had to say, below:
He’s a survivor, and the way he survived is very interesting. He’s quite out-there in his views on the world. I think audiences will assume something about him and then see where it goes.” “[He’ll be] a much bigger part of the next one.
More to come…
