The first trailer for The Housemaid has debuted at CinemaCon. Based on the novel of the same name by Freida McFadden, the upcoming psychological thriller movie is directed by Paul Feig, and features a cast led by Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, and Brandon Sklenar. Sweeney plays Millie, who is hired to be a housemaid for the wealthy Nina (Seyfried) and Sklenar (Andrew). While Millie is trying to put her own past behind her, it soon becomes clear that her employers have their own sinister secrets.
Now, The Housemaid‘s first trailer has been shown and provides a first look at what to expect from the film.
Trailer opens on Millie driving to Nina’s house, which is a mansion. Millie is shown cleaning, cooking, and helping Nina’s daughter with ballerina. We also see her on a tour of the house with Nina. Then the trailer turns dark as Millie discovers something. Lots of her sneaking around the house, Nina standing behind her, different scenes of them crying, screaming, running, etc. “I have a really good feeling about his Millie,” Nina says. “Me too,” Millie responds. The trailer then ends with someone turning a key into a door.
