At Last, Pokémon’s Cutest Television Series Is Now Streaming for Free

Pokémon Concierge has just been released for free on YouTube, giving fans without Netflix a chance to enjoy the franchise’s most peaceful installment for the first time. The series has been subject to fantastic reviews, and is completely unlike any other major Pokémon project in the best possible way.

Pokémon Concierge is a 4-episode stop-motion animated series which follows Haru, a new employee at a resort for Pokémon. Haru must acclimate to her new life on the resort island and adjust to her job caring for other people’s Pokémon, which can obviously come in a wide variety of forms and appearances. Haru also gets to know her new co-workers, who have their own idiosyncrasies and relationships with the Pokémon who visit the island. It features no battles or competitions, and is extremely laid-back and enjoyable for anyone, be they children or adults.

Pokémon Concierge is Now Available on YouTube

The Hit Series is Now Streaming for Free

Pokémon Concierge premiered on Netflix in December 2023, and remained exclusive to that streaming platform until February 23, 2025, when the official Pokémon X (formerly Twitter) account announced that the series would become available to view on YouTube for free until March 9, 2025. The announcement also confirms that the second season of Pokémon Concierge is currently in production, after its announcement back in February 2024. There is, as yet, no word as to when season 2 of Pokémon Concierge will premiere.

Many fans without Netflix accounts haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy the series yet, and this represents the perfect opportunity for them to watch. At around 15 minutes per episode, and with only 4 episodes, it’s not a huge time commitment to watch, but it’s worth it for every minute of peaceful, relaxing tropical island vibes. Haru is a relatable character for adult fans, learning how to handle stress and make new friends in a new environment. The show’s aesthetic is absolutely adorable, and fans will get to see a good selection of Pokémon in stop-motion form, including the series’ star, Psyduck.

Pokémon Concierge Will Benefit Greatly From This Increased Availability

The Series Could Gain Increased Popularity Before Its Second Season

Aside from being available for free to a much larger population of Pokémon fans, this release will help keep fans talking about Pokémon Concierge during its production cycle, keeping attention on the series as it produces its second season. Given how unique the series is for the Pokémon brand, it could certainly benefit from being more widely known, especially to adult fans who might not typically engage with Pokémon animated series.

For those who haven’t seen Pokémon Concierge, it’s well worth it to take an hour of time and watch the series on YouTube before it disappears on March 9, 2025. It’s a breath of fresh air for the Pokémon franchise as a whole, and offers a brand-new point of view on the Pokémon world, outside the context of battling and competing that has come to dominate both the games and anime.
