The BBC has launched first-look pictures for its upcoming adaptation of William Golding’s brutally iconic story, Lord of the Flies. Lord of the Flies follows a gaggle of children who discover themselves stranded on a tropical island – with no grownup supervision – after a tragic aircraft crash.
That is the primary Lord of the Flies adaptation created particularly for tv, with BAFTA and Emmy-winners Jack Thorne (Adolescence, His Darkish Supplies) and Marc Munden (Nationwide Treasure, Assist) on the helm.
