Marvel executive producer teases Ms. Marvel‘s MCU return following her father’s guest appearance in Daredevil: Born Again. Kamala Khan made her MCU debut in her own Disney+ series, Ms. Marvel, in Phase 4. Shortly after, Ms. Marvel teamed up with Carol Danvers and Monica rambeau in The Marvels, where Kamala got the idea of creating her own team of young Avengers. Since then, Kamala Khan hasn’t appeared on screen again, but her father Yusuf Khan practically co-starred in Daredevil: Born Again episode 5, where Matt Murdock saved him from a bank robbery.
As reported by TVLine‘s Matt Webb Mitovich, Marvel Studios producer Sana Amanat wants to see Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel back on screen soon. While there are no confirmed announcements regarding Ms. Marvel’s next MCU appearance, Marvel Studios might be searching for opportunities to bring her back after the events of The Marvels. Amanat reportedly said:
“She is beloved by all of us at Marvel, and we have been talking…. Hopefully there will be plans soon, but it is very, very TBD. Hopefully [The Marvels] will not be the last we see of her.”
Kamala Khan’s Return Is A Matter Of Time
Unlike many other characters introduced in Phases 4 and 5, Kamala Khan has a well-defined future. After The Marvels‘s ending, it’s clear that Ms. Marvel is focusing on recruiting more heroes for her Young Avengers team. Next time Ms. Marvel appears on screen, she will probably be accompanied by several other young heroes. Therefore, solo titles are unlikely to feature Kamala on her own. Instead, Ms. Marvel may return with a full-fledged Young Avengers team in a crossover event before the Multiverse Saga ends.

Daredevil: Born Again Just Revealed Why The Young Avengers Assemble In The MCU And What Their Official Team Name Could Be In Convincing Marvel Theory
After Daredevil: Born Again episode 7, Wilson Fisk’s war on vigilantes may end up giving the MCU’s Young Avengers a different team name.
Since Avengers: Doomsday‘s cast announcement didn’t include Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel or any of the MCU’s potential members of the Young Avengers, it currently seems like the team won’t appear in Marvel Studios’ next crossover movie in any capacity. However, Iman Vellani can still join Avengers: Doomsday‘s cast before the movie starts filming, and Ms. Marvel could appear in a brief cameo alongside some or all of her new teammates at some point in the movie. Whatever the case, Ms. Marvel is highly likely to appear in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Ms. Marvel Could Gain More Relevance In The MCU Soon
Sana Amanat’s Ms. Marvel comments suggest Marvel Studios hasn’t found the right place to feature Kamala Khan’s return after The Marvels, meaning that Iman Vellani’s hero likely won’t return in any of 2025 or 2026’s MCU projects. This might not be a problem for the character, as Ms. Marvel will probably play be the Young Avengers’ equivalent to Iron Man whenever she returns. Leading the Young Avengers, Ms. Marvel could become one of the MCU’s most influential heroes going forward.
