Based on the Leaphorn & Chee books by Tony Hillerman, and created by Graham Roland, the AMC and AMC+ crime drama centers on Lt. Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) and Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon). It has proven to be a hit, with Dark Winds season 4 confirmed before the third installment has even premiered.

With nine reviews counted so far, Dark Winds season 3 currently sits at a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes which breaks down to a high 9.0/10.
