The latest casting update on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage reveals that Mandy’s ex will join the show. A spinoff of Young Sheldon, from creators Steven Molaro, Steve Holland, and Chuck Lorre, Georgie & Mandy focuses on the titular newlyweds played by Montana Jordan and Emily Osment. However, as shown in The Big Bang Theory, which follows an adult Sheldon, Georgie’s happy marriage with Mandy doesn’t last.
TVLine reports that Popular and Covert Affairs actor Christopher Gorham has joined Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. The actor will play Scott, Mandy’s new boss, who shares a romantic history with her. It’s teased that his presence will complicate things for the main couple. Gorham will appear in the final two episodes of Georgie & Mandy season 1, which CBS will air back to back on May 15, starting at 8 PM ET.
