A newly released image from Grey’s Anatomy season 21 offers a first look at Emmy winner Lena Waithe guest-starring as Dr. Evynn Moore. Created by Shonda Rhimes, the hit ABC drama continues its legacy as television’s longest-running primetime medical saga. With a mix of fresh and returning faces, the award-winning series continues its dive into the professional and personal woes of the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital doctors and staff. Grey’s Anatomy season 21 airs on Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
According to Deadline, Waithe is set to join Grey’s as the brilliant and savvy former student of Catherine Fox (Debbie Allen), returning to Grey Sloan as Dr. Moore to assist with a unique case involving her wife, portrayed by Andrea Bordeaux. This storyline is set to unfold over a two-episode arc, beginning with Episode 2110, titled “Jump (for My Love),” scheduled to premiere on March 13. Take a look at the images below:
