ABC has officially renewed High Potential for season 2, just ahead of its highly anticipated season 1 finale. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Kaitlin Olson leads the series as Morgan, a witty and unconventional mother of three who uses her genius-level IQ to consult for the LAPD. While she’s grown into an invaluable asset at the Major Crimes Division, Morgan’s ultimate goal is to find her long-missing husband. The High Potential cast also features Daniel Sunjata, Javicia Leslie, Deniz Akdeniz, Amirah J, Matthew Lamb, and Judy Reyes.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, High Potential will officially get a season 2. After shifting its airtime from 10 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, the hit procedural’s episodes now average 5.74 million same-day viewers. Created by Drew Goddard and based on the 2021 French series HPI, Olson’s dramedy is the second ABC show to score a renewal for next season, following Abbott Elementary.
