FBI: International came to an end with its season 4 finale, and the episode’s events and last moments didn’t sit well with fans.
In a surprising turn of events, CBS canceled the two FBI spinoffs — FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International — in March 2025. Meanwhile, the original series lives on, and a new offshoot (CIA) premieres this fall. The cancelations were disappointing for many, but they came early enough for the productions of both shows to write and film satisfying endings. Unfortunately, FBI: International seemingly didn’t take advantage of this opportunity. Now, many fans have taken to social media to express their frustration, even calling the series finale a “waste” (per X).
