Matlock season 1 finale images have revealed Olympia (Skye P. Marshall) learning more about Madeline’s (Kathy Bates) intricate revenge plan while teasing Sarah’s first day trying a case. While Madeline has been able to trick the cast of Matlock into thinking she’s working at the firm to help them with difficult cases, Olympia has discovered her true mission to get justice for her daughter’s death. While the previous episode saw a schism form between the pair, it became evident that their friendship was very much real, even if the protagonist had been lying to her friend about who she was.
Now, Paramount has released new images from the two-part Matlock season 1 finale, teasing that Olympia wants to help Madeline in her investigation into Wellbrexa. The images show there’s still tension between the pair, even though it seems they could be working together. The images also tease the team together on a murder case, while Sarah tries her first case for Jacobson Moore. Check out the images below:

Major Events Are Finally Coming To A Head
As the images indicate, it seems like Madeline’s investigation into Wellbrexa is going to make some headway, even though it’s unclear how events are going to play out. For now, it seems like Julian (Jason Ritter), Billy (David Del Rio), and Sarah (Leah Lewis) are going to be left in the dark about what’s going on. With the latter first year associate now preparing for her first trial, it’s possible nobody else on the team becomes aware of the protagonist’s investigation as the story of Matlock continues.
