Netflix‘s new American Manhunt docuseries with a 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes has become a global hit after being delayed for two months. There have been a multitude of Netflix original docuseries focusing on various facets of American history. Many of these focus on events that are crucial moments in US history, such as Waco: American Apocalypse, about 1993’s Waco massacre, and Spy Ops, focusing on various operations conducted by the federal government. The genre has proven itself a long-standing part of the streamer’s history.
American Manhunt is a label for multiple docuseries on Netflix focusing on notorious figures who have been hunted down by the American government in recent history.
