A new Lena Dunham Netflix comedy series, titled Too Much, gets first-look images showing off its star-studded cast, alongside a release date. The upcoming Netflix comedy TV show was co-created by Dunham and her husband, Luis Felber, with a 10-episode story starring Hacks‘ Megan Stalter. The show will follow Stalter’s Jessica, a woman from New York who flies to London after a breakup, only to meet Felix (Will Sharpe), a man who might be everything she’s been looking for. The rom-com follows their connection and all the events surrounding their relationship.
Now, Netflix has unveiled new images from Too Much, offering a closer look at the rom-com series. Stalter and Sharpe are featured in most images, alongside a dog the couple have. Other images include Stalter in bed with Michael Zegen, Sharpe at a bar with Adwoa Aboah, and highlighting high-profile stars like Naomi Watts, Rhea Perlman, and Dunham herself. In addition, Netflix revealed the 10-episode series will arrive on Thursday, July 10. Check out the images below:
What Too Much’s Images Say About Dunham’s New Series
The Rom-Com Is Poised To Offer Memorable & Funny Moments
One of the biggest hooks of the romantic comedy story is the divide between Jessica’s American viewpoints and Felix’s British sensibilities. Based on the images, it appears their relationship begins to wrap multiple people into their lives, including some who’ve had romantic connections to the pairing before. Although there’s no specification around what this means for the duo, it seems like the buildup of their romance won’t be an easy path for them.

Still, the show marks an important point in Lena Dunham’s TV career, being the first series she’s been involved with since being an executive producer for Max’s Genera+ion in 2021. This new rom-com appears to be going for a more light-hearted tone than either of those previous works, with the images promising dramatic events, but also a light-hearted relationship.
