A new Netflix crime series led by a Peaky Blinders star debuts with a rare 100% Rotten Tomatoes score. Producing original series since 2013, the streaming service is home to popular TV shows like Stranger Things, Squid Game, Wednesday, and Bridgerton. Another popular series to air on Netflix is Peaky Blinders, which was originally broadcast on the BBC. A feature film set a few years after the finale, titled The Immortal Man, started filming in September 2024 and will also be distributed by Netflix.
Created by Steven Knight, Peaky Blinders follows the exploits of the titular crime gang, set in Birmingham in the direct aftermath of World War I. Peaky Blinders‘ cast was led by Cillian Murphy alongside Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, and Joe Cole as the gang’s senior members. The series also featured Sam Neill, Annabelle Wallis, Tom Hardy, Paddy Considine, Adrien Brody, Aidan Gillen, Anya Taylor-Joy, Sam Claflin, and Stephen Graham in recurring roles. The series stars Stephen Graham, who also serves as a co-creator, alongside Ashley Walters, Erin Doherty, Owen Cooper, Faye Marsay, Christine Tremarco, Mark Stanley, Jo Hartley, Amélie Pease, Austin Haynes, and Lil Charva.
