Lucasfilm has just revealed a bold new direction for Star Wars: Visions beyond season 3 in 2025. The anime series inspired by the galaxy far, far away always provides fascinating stories and adventures, as audiences get to see exciting and unique takes on the Star Wars galaxy from various animation studios. However, it’s just been announced that a brand-new special presentation is coming, allowing for a more long-form narrative with The Ninth Jedi.
As revealed at Star Wars Celebration 2025’s Star Wars Visions panel, a new project is coming in 2026 entitled Star Wars: Visions Presents: The Ninth Jedi, a new limited series that will further explore the alternate Star Wars timeline where Sith Lords are attempting to prevent the return of the Jedi Order, multiple generations following the events of the canon movies.
